Privacy Policy for Deepcliff Guild
Last updated: July 17, 2026
Deepcliff Guild is a single-player Android game. This policy explains how the game and the Google services included in it handle information.
Developer-operated services
The game has no first-party account and no first-party backend. The developer does not ask for an email address, phone number, real name, contacts, precise location, photos, microphone recordings, or camera content. The developer does not operate analytics, advertising, payment, or cloud-save servers.
Google services
The Android release uses these third-party Google services:
- Google AdMob provides optional rewarded advertisements. AdMob may process approximate location derived from an IP address, app interactions, diagnostics, and device identifiers for advertising, analytics, fraud prevention, security, and compliance.
- Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) requests and stores advertising consent choices where required. A user who does not consent to personalized advertising is not prevented from playing. Users below the applicable digital-consent age cannot initialize or watch rewarded ads.
- Google Play Billing processes purchases and subscriptions. Google Play handles payment details. The game receives limited purchase history and status data such as the product, transaction/order reference, purchase token, purchase state, and subscription presence so it can grant, restore, acknowledge, or consume an item and prevent duplicate local grants.
Google may process data under its own policies. See Google's Privacy Policy and AdMob's Android data disclosure.
Local game and transaction data
Game progress, settings, heroes, inventory, advertising consent/age choice, rewarded-ad counters, and a local transaction ledger are stored on the device. The ledger records reward and purchase identifiers, product IDs, grant amounts, and status needed to prevent duplicate grants. Critical monetization state may be integrity-sealed with Android Keystore material.
This local transaction storage is not uploaded to a first-party backend because none exists. Google SDKs still communicate with Google to provide ads, consent, purchases, subscription queries, fraud prevention, and related services.
Advertising choices
Rewarded ads are voluntary. The game uses UMP where applicable and offers Google's privacy-options flow when required. Consent can affect whether Google serves personalized or non-personalized ads. Declining advertising consent does not block the core game.
Purchases and refunds
Purchases are fulfilled on the device using Google Play Billing. Consumable purchase history cannot be fully restored after Play consumption, and clearing all local app data can remove local first-purchase and transaction evidence. Refund, revocation, renewal, and subscription-expiry detection may be delayed because there is no authoritative first-party backend.
Children's privacy and audience
Deepcliff Guild is not directed to children and is configured as a non-child-directed game. The game asks for an age-of-consent choice before initializing advertising. Users identified as below the applicable digital-consent age cannot use rewarded ads; the rest of the game remains available.
Retention and deletion
The developer has no first-party account or backend record to delete. The current Android release requests that Android backup and device-transfer services do not back up or migrate local game and monetization data. Clearing Android app storage or uninstalling removes the current installed local copy. However, an older version may already have created a historical platform backup; where one remains, uninstalling alone does not guarantee deletion of that older backup, and reinstalling could restore it. Users may need to remove historical device/app backups through the Android or Google backup controls available for their device and account. Backup availability and behavior vary by Android version, OEM, and Google service, so the app cannot guarantee deletion of every historical copy on every device. Google retains Google-controlled service data according to its policies and the user's Google account controls.
Security
Network communication by Google services is encrypted in transit. Local integrity controls reduce accidental corruption and low-cost tampering but are not server validation and cannot guarantee protection on a compromised device.
